How far from London are the half-term camps?

Marchants Hill is a huge camp complex in the heart of the Surrey countryside, surrounded by beautiful woodland – the ideal setting for outdoor activities. Bawdsey Manor is located on the Suffolk and Essex coastline – a unique coastal setting. Windmill Hill on the famous Sussex Downs is a popular destination for London-based campers. Yes, we can cater for many dietary requirements at our PGL UK activity centres. We are able to deliver catering provision for dietary requirements as specified by culture, religion and medical concerns. We regularly provide meals for a wide variety of needs including coeliac, diabetic, food allergies and vegetarian/vegan. You will be given the opportunity to let us know about your child’s dietary requirements prior to travel. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the PGL team to discuss these.

Is there evening entertainment available at half-term camp?

May half term wouldn’t be the same without our excellent program of nightly entertainment. For those wanting a boogie – we host fun discos. For the brainboxes in the group, we’ll host fun quizzes with great prizes, plus campfire games and much more along the way!

Are the camps split by age groups?

We want your child to be comfortable when they’re at camp, which is why certain ages overlap, meaning a ‘primary school’ 11-year-old could join our 8-11 adventures, and your ‘secondary school’ 11-year-old could join our 11-13 adventures! For teenagers, our adventure camps for 13-16 year olds offer the perfect blend of discovery and fun.
