What is included in the full price of an October half-term camp?
Book a Kids’ Adventure Camp this October and you’ll get everything included! Once your child is with us, we’ll take care of the rest including:
- Three delicious and nutritious meals a day
- Activities led by qualified instructors

What will my child take part in during their time on camp?
Each day, your child will take part in 4-5 epic activities, such as Raft Building, Abseiling, Climbing and more (we have over 40 amazing activities)!
How safe will my child be throughout their time on camp?
Your child is in safe hands at PGL. We go above and beyond to protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our care.
Everything we do is built on our five protective pillars:
- Safe People: Colleagues are fully trained, DBS checked, and continually assessed.
- Safe Places: All buildings are risk assessed, we have segmented accommodation, secure perimeters and strict equipment standards.
- Safe Spaces: All-encompassing environments, language inclusivity, and SEND-trained staff.
- Safeguarding: Staff are trained in safeguarding, helping them to spot risks and act quickly.
- Safe Travels: All of our travel partners are vetted to make sure they have safety management systems in place, and we ensure travel is adaptable to the needs of all children.

The Jurassic Coast is home to some truly breath-taking views and our adventure camp is on the outskirts of Weymouth in Dorset, and is situated right on the shore – allowing children to experience adventure in a truly awe-inspiring setting. Do you cater for various dietary requirements?
Yes, we can cater for many dietary requirements at our PGL UK activity centres. We are able to deliver catering provision for dietary requirements as specified by culture, religion and medical concerns. We regularly provide meals for a wide variety of needs including coeliac, diabetic, food allergies and vegetarian/vegan. You will be given the opportunity to let us know about your child’s dietary requirements prior to travel. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the PGL team to discuss these.
Is there evening entertainment available at half-term camp?
Of course, adventure camps at PGL wouldn’t be complete without a healthy dose of evening fun. Discos, quizzes, campfire games and treats and more—The fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down!
What's the accommodation like?
Osmington Bay comprises two different types of accommodation. You’ll find on camp our quaint chalets, which sleep 4-6 people with en-suite bathrooms. We also have two-storey accommodation blocks which sleep four people – the perfect way to relax and take a breather after an action-packed day of activities.
Can I pay with childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare?

Are the camps split by age groups?
We want your child to be comfortable when they’re at camp, which is why certain ages overlap, meaning a ‘primary school’ 11-year-old could join our 8-11 adventures, and your ‘secondary school’ 11-year-old could join our 11-13 adventures! For teenagers, our adventure camps for 13-16 year olds offer the perfect blend of discovery and fun.
