PGL’s adventure activities for kids
Abseiling
What an exciting activity this is! Starting at the top of our towers built for this activity specifically, kids must slowly lower themselves down to the bottom, while harnessed in and using their feet to control their descent. It’s an unbelievable sense of achievement once you reach the bottom.
Dragon Boating
Originating from Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands, this popular water race has now come to PGL! This challenge demands strength, grit, and determination, which we’re sure your kids possess. In teams of up to 24, they must work together to paddle to the finish line while an instructor steers the Dragon Boat to victory. Which team will find their rhythm first?
Low-Level Ropes Course
It’s a classic found at plenty of playgrounds. But do they do it like PGL? With lots and lots of obstacles to overcome, low-level ropes allow kids to try many different ways to get across because there’s no fear of heights. Kids can also take advice from their fellow campmates to help them complete the challenge.
Orienteering
A true adventure! Are your kids not able to map read? No problem. Our instructors will teach them. After an introduction to some practical map reading skills, kids will get split up into teams where the fun begins! The fastest team to locate all control points found around the centre wins.
Tree Climb
We’ve all climbed a tree (or tried to) when we were younger, right? It’s one of the first adventures we have! Well at PGL, our qualified instructor will help your kids recognise and control the risks of tree climbing, before teaching them the basic skills needed to conquer their tree climb.
Zip Wire
This is a thrilling PGL favourite. Kids will zoom across the zip wire while harnessed and suspended from height, overlooking a lake or maybe even flying through a forest. It’s an exhilarating experience to say the least.
