SEND and inclusion policy
At PGL, we believe that outdoor adventure should be accessible to every young person. Our approach is built around inclusion, ensuring that children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Additional Support Needs (ASN) can take part confidently and with the support they need to thrive. Whether your child has a physical disability, learning disability, sensory need or neurodiverse condition, our specially trained teams can work with you to plan a residential that is safe, empowering and full of possibility.
If your child has additional requirements, please discuss this with our customer care team before booking a Kids’ Camp. We ask that you provide us with as much information as possible to ensure we can make a fair & thorough assessment of service provision and to also identify appropriate resources in relation to access, camp programming, successful participation and the health and safety of our guests.

Our commitment to SEND inclusivity
We’re committed to making our centres accessible to all guests and giving every child the best experience possible. If your group has any children who have additional needs, please share these with us before your visit. The more detail you provide, the better we can:
- Assess service provision fairly
- Identify resources for accessibility, activity adaptations, and safety
- Ensure successful participation and wellbeing

Our Essential Guest Information Form, required to be completed by a legal parent or guardian of each child travelling with us at point of booking, is a comprehensive questionnaire that enables us to best understand every child’s needs whilst staying at our centres.
If your child is travelling as part of a school or youth group you will be provided with a form by the party leader and there we kindly as you to refer to them in the first instance.
If our Kids’ Camps are not suitable for your child then you may consider one of our PGL Family Adventures where you/a carer can travel with them. Please call our team on 0333 321 2114 for more information.
