FAQs

What is Klarna?

Klarna is a smart way to shop and pay, offering customers the chance to spread the cost of their booking with multiple payment plans, with no interest or fees payable if payments are completed on time.

How do I choose to pay with Klarna?

Whether booking online or over the phone, our booking process is easy and straightforward.

At the time of making your reservation you will need to provide a name and date of birth for each guest travelling on your booking and agree to completing all mandatory paperwork for your booked trip/s. You will also need to confirm that each guest is able to take care of their own basic personal care in order to proceed with them on your reservation. If you are booking on behalf of another parent/guardian you will need to provide a name, contact email address and telephone number for them, in order for us to collect relevant pre-arrival information about their child ahead of their stay. For more information about booking for guests with additional needs please click here.

After your initial booking each parent/guardian will be sent a link to our Essential Guest Information Form via email. In order for your booking to go ahead it is mandatory we have this information for each guest within 3 days. 6 weeks ahead of your child’s visit we will ask you to review this information again and you will have the opportunity to make any changes necessary. Within this form we collect information on dietary and medical requirements and ask some questions about your child which will enable our team to give them the best experience at their PGL Kids’ Camp. All parents/guardians will need to set up an online MyPGL account to access the Essential Guest Information Form and your essential information booklet. This booklet contains a full packing list, arrival and departure times and centre information.

Do I need to set up a Klarna account?

Yes. During the check-out process, you will be prompted to either log in to your Klarna account, or – if you don’t have an account – to set one up. It’s quick and easy and we’ll walk you through the process.

Will using Pay in 3 affect my credit score?

Klarna may carry out a limited credit ‘soft credit check’, which won’t affect your credit score, but they do report information to credit reference agencies about payments you make, and any payments that you fail to make on time. Failure to pay on time may affect your ability to obtain credit in the future from Klarna/other lenders. More information about reporting to credit reference agencies can be found in Klarna’s Privacy Notice.

Your payments are automatically withdrawn from your connected card or bank account according to the agreed schedule. Klarna will send you reminders before each payment is due so you can make sure you’ve got enough money to pay. If payment fails, you may be charged a late payment fee, subject to Klarna’s Pay in 30 Instalments terms and conditions here.

Your cancellation is subject to our cancellation policy.  Once we have confirmed the cancellation, Klarna will update your payment(s) accordingly as well as refund any amounts due. Refund processing times may vary and can take up to 14 days depending on your bank.

How and when will I receive my refund when I have paid using Pay in 3?

Funds for Pay in 3 are processed in different ways. It depends on the status of your payment schedule, how much you’ve paid and if we have processed a full or partial refund.

Full refund – If you’re due a full refund , Klarna will cancel any remaining payments and refund anything you’ve already paid to the card you used to make the payment.

Partial refund – If you’re due a partial refund that’s more than the remaining balance on your order, Klarna will deduct the amount from the outstanding balance first and refund the difference to the card you used to pay off the purchase.  If the partial refund is less than the remaining balance on your order, they will deduct the amount from the outstanding balance and spread the remaining balance evenly over the remaining payments.
